Big Brother has decided to test the group's knowledge of the house rules.
All of the housemates have been provided with Rule School books for today's task. After one hour of studying the rules, they will be given a test - with Big Brother threatening that further punishments will be on the way if even one question is answered incorrectly.
The housemates were left in complete shock this evening as Nikki was named as this week's evictee.
All of the group - except Jayne - were up for eviction following Jayne's continued rule-breaking earlier in the week. Nikki had polled 37% of the public vote.
The housemates will be enjoying basic food rations only next week, as Big Brother continues to admonish Jayne.
The group was summoned to the living area yesterday evening, with everybody feeling nervous about their fates, solemnly speculating that one or more of them would be shown the door.
Big Brother has announced that all of the housemates except for Jayne will face the public vote this week.
As the housemates gathered for nominations as usual this afternoon, they were shocked when Jayne was the first housemate to be called to the Diary Room. She soon appeared on the plasma screen and was informed that she was being punished for constant rule-breaking - including talking about the outside world since entering the house.
Since Tuesday, the public have been voting to decide whether LEA or RICHARD should be the sixth housemate to be publicly evicted from the Big Brother house.
During tonight’s 8.30pm show, DAVINA McCALL announced live to the house that the next person to be evicted would be LEA. She received 53.8% of the total votes cast.
Love Island struggles on 1.7m ITV1's Love Island once again proved to be no match for Channel 4's Big Brother with only 1.7 million (8.8%) viewers at 10pm.
The commercial network's reality show had picked up slightly after last Friday's low of 1.5 million (7.6%) with Monday's (17 July) edition attracting 2.4 million (12.6%).
